What is Bridge to Life?
Bridge to Life is an affiliate of The Bridge School that brings decades of expertise in AAC, mobility, and CVI to individuals with extensive speech and/or physical disabilities.
We offer personalized services, family coaching, professional consultation, and educator training—creating a continuum of support that meets individuals where they are. Whether through one-on-one sessions or system-level collaboration, Bridge to Life helps unlock communication, build capacity, and extend impact well beyond the school walls.

- Individuals from infancy through adulthood with complex communication and mobility needs who are seeking guidance, tools, and support across home, school, and care settings
- School districts looking to enhance IEP outcomes and build internal capacity
- Healthcare professionals and providers needing collaborative planning and consultation
- Educators and therapists seeking CVI expertise, AAC strategies, and inclusive learning practices
- Bridge School alumni who have transitioned out of the school but still benefit from specialized support
Our Services
Bridge to Life delivers specialized support for individuals with extensive speech and/or physical disabilities. Our interdisciplinary team is currently providing the following targeted services designed to assess needs, build capacity, and improve outcomes across home, school, and community settings:
- CVI assessments and tailored training for families, educators, and providers
- Receptive and expressive language evaluations and therapy
- Consultation on positioning, seating, and physical access to communication
- Direct speech and language services for individuals who use AAC
- Ongoing research, professional development, and training programs that extend our impact and help advance best practices in the field

Approved Provider Partnerships
Bridge to Life is an approved Non-Public Agency (NPA) providing direct services and consultation to school districts across the Bay Area. We are also a vendor of the Golden Gate Regional Center and offer assessment, training, and intervention services through regional center funding and courtesy vendorizations. For private clients, we can provide superbills to support insurance reimbursement for AAC-related services.
