I have published articles as well as educated special education teachers, parents with children with disabilities and my undergraduate and graduate students about AAC. In 2011, only a few people knew about AAC in South Korea but many more teachers and parents are interested in AAC nowadays.
Many teachers and parents want to know AAC intervention but there are very few AAC professionals in South Korea. After I return to Korea, I will try to develop the AAC professional training program and introduce the transition program of The Bridge School. TIR program has had an impact on the development of AAC and special education since 2011 and will continue in the future in South Korea.
