Trace has been breaking barriers since 1971. The mission of their research is to capitalize on available technology and telecommunication and to develop means of access by all people. Some of their projects include the software that allows augmentative communication devices to interface with computers, guidelines for accessible ATM's, and a Universal Design Tool to support developers of new technologies.
