 San Francisco Classic 2 Mile & 10K
Sunday, October 9, 2005
People Events, in association with Ohana (a non-profit member club of Road Runners Club of America (RRCA)), holds runs and walks that address societal needs by conducting pedestrian events benefiting humanity while offering exceptional value for your entry fee. This year, on Sunday, October 9th, the San Francisco Classic's beneficiary will be the Bridge School which serves children with severe speech and physical impairments.
The San Francisco Classic 10 Kilometer and 2 Mile takes place at 8:30 a.m. at John F. Kennedy Drive at 10th Avenue in Golden Gate Park. Two minutes before both races, there will be a free quarter mile run, walk, and roll for children of all abilities. All races finish in front of the Conservatory of Flowers. The race is within easy walking distance of the starts and offers ample parking in surrounding areas.
Computerized timing, well-marked properly maintained courses, mile splits, refreshments, goody bags, gorgeous t-shirts, and random drawing are offered for participants.
Run, walk, or volunteer at the San Francisco Classic. $5 of each entry fee will go to the Bridge School. To make an online pledge, please go to our Online Donation page. All pledges are tax-deductible.
Thank you.
