In April, The Bridge School will send a team to Mexico City in support of our most recent Teacher-in-Residence, Gabriela Berlanga. Gabriela returned to Mexico and, in partnership with others, started a resource and therapy center, Centro de Apoyo Techológico para la Comunicación y el Aprendizaje (CATIC). She has planned a conference on April 28th and 29th for therapists, teachers and parents. The Bridge School staff will provide workshops in augmentative and alternative communication, literacy for AAC users, assistive technology, and involving parents in the education process.
