AAC Friends and Leaders: A.R.T.
In October 2006, the AAC Friends and Leaders group experienced the amazing A.R.T. program. A.R.T., Artistic Realization Technologies, based in New Jersey, focuses on providing individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to express themselves creatively and authentically. The process uses a "tracker" who manipulates tools and materials based solely upon the input of the artist. We were fortunate to have with us an exceptional tracker, Kat and the founder of the program, Tim Lefens.
