Students in Action

All work and no play makes for a very long, boring day and that never happens at The Bridge School. There are so many different things happening that no one has an opportunity to even think about being bored! Since returning to school from the winter break, the preschool group has baked cookies from scratch and enjoyed eating every morsel, learned all about different parts of cars and practiced ‘working’ at a service station.
It’s not all about academics in Classroom 2. In addition to working on math and written language, the students have loved their afternoon art sessions where they have been creating self-portraits using computers to generate their body images. Once they were satisfied with the image, they created a mixed media self-portrait using photos, yarn, feathers and other objects to fill in the details.

Aidan uses his computer to complete a writing assignment during a language arts lesson.

The preschool takes a peek under Miss Lindsay’s car. They love playing and learning about service station and cars!

Adam and Miss Lindsay race a car down the ramp.

Abigail is learning to use her computer to complete a letter worksheet.

Roman loves writing with his computer to complete his language arts assignment.

Jackie picks out which dessert she wants to bake.

Jet and Miss Laura play bakery. Jet loves making cupcakes!

Roman looks at his face to help him decide how he will create his self-portrait.
