Lucky Brand Dungarees have been making us here at the Bridge School feel pretty lucky. The Lucky Brand Foundation, started by Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman, owners of Lucky Brand Dungarees, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for disadvantaged and disabled children. The Foundation has been generously donating to The Bridge School for 5 years.

On Saturday, February 5th, the California based company recently opened 2 new stores in San Francisco. Proceeds made on this opening day were donated to the Bridge School. This contribution makes it possible for us to run our annual Building Bridges Summer Camp and Training Institute. This week long overnight camp combines all the fun of summer with a chance for kids who use alternative and augmentative communication to meet others like themselves and learn to do more with their technology. Each child's classroom aide, teacher or speech-language pathologist is invited to work along side the child and learn about communication, accessible technology, and software. We are presently gearing up for our 7th summer. So, thank you Lucky Brand Foundation!
