The Bridge School has been awarded Program of the Year by the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The Program of the Year Award honors a single outstanding speech-language and/or hearing program which has met CSHA's defined guidelines for exemplary performance. It is the intent of the award to recognize outstanding clinical service, innovative service delivery models, coordination or related program services, use of innovative techniques in delivery of services, and/or research activities that benefit the field.

The Bridge School is deeply honored for the award and would like to extend special thanks to those parents and administrators who wrote moving letters of support on our behalf. The Bridge School will receive the Program of the Year Award at the annual state convention dinner, held at the Monterey Hyatt Regency, Friday, April 4, 2003.
