Both classrooms are learning about their families and sharing about themselves.  We have activities in all of the curriculum areas that develop this concept.  We are making many personal books including titles like: This is My Family; Who’s in Classroom 1?; and This is What I Like.  Art projects have included self portraits; “I like” collages; and a 3 dimensional house. When we cook we make favorite recipes from each student’s family.  During math we find out how many moms, dads, brothers and sisters there are. 

There is so much to know and everyday we learn something new!
