On Friday, May 10, 2002 at age 11 Rachel Abigail Milgrom passed away suddenly. She died peacefully in her parent's arms, surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving parents, Jo and Barry, and beloved sister, Lindsey. Rachel was supported and loved, as she has been throughout her life, by her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, adopted aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, teachers and helpers. Her ability to give and receive love united an entire community. Rachel loved books, story tapes, bright colors, talking toys, videos and music. Despite her severe disability, she led an adventurous life. She loved skiing, ice skating, horseback riding, swimming, inner tubing, boating, swinging and camping. She was happiest when her dear sister Lindsey or favorite boyfriend Tyré were nearby.

She is, and always will be, deeply missed and loved.
