On Tuesday August 6, 2002 at age 15, Jennifer Lee Fitzsimmons passed away suddenly in St. Helena, CA. Jenny attended The Bridge School until 1999 when she graduated, and returned to her home school district in Piedmont, CA. Recently, Jenny and her family moved to St. Helena where she was to begin St. Helena High School in the fall as a freshman.

A loving and devoted family of her parents, Kenneth and Jane and her brother Christopher survives Jenny. Extended family members include her two grandfathers, Ross Fitzsimmons of Rossmoor, and Jim Zitella of Williamsburg, S.C. Jennifer was a vibrant and courageous young girl. Jenny loved all the things typical of a 15 year old, primping in front of the mirror, buying clothes, talking to friends, and just "hanging out". She had many loving and devoted friends, teachers and helpers at Bridge School. She is, and always will be, deeply missed and loved by all at The Bridge School.

A private memorial service has been planned for August 24th, 2002. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to The Bridge School.
