Emma Pitcairn passed away on Saturday September 16th, 2006 at the age of 25.  She is survived by her loving parents, Andrew and Alexandra, her brother Mark, and many friends.

Emma graduated from the Bridge School in 1994 and returned to her home school district in Oakland, California where she eventually graduated from high school and participated in the Community Options program. 

Emma loved and lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed everything from hanging out with friends at a coffee shop to more adventurous activities such as skiing, sailing and land sailing.

She will always be remembered for her exuberant laugh that would overflow to all who were around her and her ability to capture your attention with her bright beautiful eyes.

Emma is, and always will be, deeply loved and missed by all at The Bridge School.

A private memorial service has been planned.
