AAC Friends and Leaders experience A.R.T.
In August the AAC Friends and Leaders group experienced the amazing A.R.T. program. A.R.T. stands for Artistic Realization Technologies and is based in New Jersey (www.artrealization.org). This program focuses on providing individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to express themselves creatively and authentically. The process uses a “tracker” who manipulates tools and materials based solely upon the input of the artist. We were fortunate to have an exceptional tracker, Kat and also the founder of the program Tim Lefens with us.
